Today’s trip was full of excitement! We ended up finding lots of sea lions and seeing some beautiful scenery around the Winchelsea Island Archipelago and Lasqueti island. We even saw a Mirage!

We were thrilled to find the T037As travelling together just off of entrance island on the 10th of February! They seemed to be on a mission as they moved north through the Strait of Georgia. We also saw lots of Sea Birds and some Seals and Sea Lions as well!

The 23rd was spent down in Saanich where there was a T-party going on! 11 orca from three pods (T087, T090s, and T124As) were having a blast playing and socializing as they travelled through the inlet.

We got to see the T018s finishing up a hunt outside of Nanaimo after a nice boat ride beforehand. The 4 pod members travelled south through Dodd Narrows and continued through the gulf islands without us as we checked out some seals and sea lions. It was a great trip!
