A northern adventure took us searching near Texada Island where we saw Sea Lions and Harbour Porpoise, and we had a visit from the local River Otter as the tour returned!

We felt so lucky to spend the whole day with some of the most iconic orca of the Salish Sea! We saw the Alaskan Brothers, the T137s, T087 Harbeson, T065 Whidbey II, and T063 Chainsaw! You can’t get much luckier than this!

What an orca-full day this turned out to be! The T124A’s and T124C Cooper passed through False Narrows, T049A1 Noah was playing in the Nanaimo harbour, and the rest of the T049A’s (-A2) were travelling with T063 Chainsaw and his mother T065 Whidbey II off of Entrance Island!

T049A2 Jude and T049C Nielson were spotted travelling north in Stuart Channel. The orcas swam at ease through the water, occasionally diving down before resurfacing. Seeing the orcas in their natural habitat was a humbling and unforgettable experience for all our guests

The T049A’s (minus A1 and A2 - we saw them separately on the 15th!) were travelling towards the Sunshine Coast. We also had some very curious Dall’s porpoises and Harbour porpoises in the area today!
