Recent Sightings

Blizzard (BCX1817) and Slice (2021 calf of BCX1057 Divot) were travelling in Northumberland Channel - right outside our harbour!

What a day! We had double species in both the morning and afternoon with the T065Bs and humpback whales Zig Zag, her 2023 calf, Arial, and Apollo in the morning, and Nuage/Beak in the afternoon!

It was a breachapalooza with Graphite (BCX1210 calf 2019)! We also spotted Anvil (BCZ0410) and BCY1198 slapping away by Entrance Island. The T065Bs were also spotted travelling off of Richmond.

Anvil (BCZ0410), BCY1198, Dalmatian (BCY0994), and Holey Moley (BCX0870 calf 2018) were cruising in the Strait of Georgia!

Anvil (BCZ0410) and Beak (BCX1606) were buddied up in the morning, travelling and feeding. In the afternoon Anvil (BCZ0410) was busy travelling alone. T065A5 Indy made a surprise (and very fast) appearance during our morning tour.

The T037s were travelling together off the shores of Nanoose Bay, with Dalmatian the humpback not too far away.

While watching Olympus the humpback chasing after a pod of Orca, the T037s, the questions crossed our mind, who is chasing who here? Shouldn’t the orca be chasing their potential prey? The answer might surprise you.

While it was slightly wet and rainy for the day, it was worth it to see Anvil doing Acrobatics off of North Nanaimo!

We enjoyed spending time with the T037Bs who were missing their Matriarch Pizza Fin today, and the afternoon was even lucky enough to see humpback whale Anvil as well!

The T046B1s and T046C2 Sam were travelling together! Anvil (BCZ0410) the humpback was cruising along.

It was a Humpback kind of day. Today we saw Anvil (BCZ0410), Holey Moley (BCX0870 calf 2018), Barracuda (BCY0649), and Prowler (BCX1660)!

It was humpback soup in the Strait today with Prowler (BCX1660), Curious Chi (BCZ0414 calf 2021), Graze (BCY0523), her 2023 calf, Bullet (BCX1658), and Viking (BCY1063)!

We got to watch a T-party (T034s, T036As, T037s, T065A5, and T065Bs) off of Nanoose Bay and then had quite the experience with Harpy (BCY0458 calf 2020) and Neowise (BCY0160 calf 2020) near the Ballenas Islands.

What a day spent with Harpy (BCY0458 calf 2020), Prowler (BCX1660), Nuage/Beak (BCX1606), Strike (BCX1675) and her 2023 calf, and Bullet (BCX1658)!

Dinner time with the T065Bs was once again swift! This family was seen just outside porlier pass and fed lots of other wildlife with their successful hunt.

It was a T-party with the T034s, T037s, T065A5, and T065Bs off of Galiano Island! We also saw Snoopy the Humpback not far away.

What a day spent with some slap-happy humpbacks! Nike, and a friend were spotted first with Vanta and Slice not far away.

What a day! We spent the afternoon with Nuage playful breaking his slumber, as well as snoopy and Bullet travelling together. T065A5 Indy also paid us a visit!

We saw three different humpbacks today: Neowise (KEX0068), Slice (BCX1057 calf 2021), and Zorro (BCX0380)!
