T019 Nootka and T019B Galiano catch some lunch, T065A5 Indy (as per usual) is spotted darting around the Strait of Georgia, a shy Kappa (BCX0158) and an Unknown fluke by Halibut Bank, and Zig Zag (BCX1193) and her 2023 calf snooze by Thrasher Rock!

Double species day! Beak/Nuage (BCX1606) was travelling by himself and Raccoon (BCX1233) and Split Fin (BCZ0298) buddied up to feed in the Strait. The T137s were spotted inside the Southern Gulf Islands.

What a morning spent with Squirrel (KEX0066) the humpback whale! Squirrel is interesting since they chose to have BC as their feeding grounds instead of Alaska like their mom. That’s what makes seeing them so special!
