A zodiac-style vessel departed Nanaimo Harbour into the wildlife-rich Strait of Georgia, where we encountered two pairs of humpback whales, visited Stinky Rock filled with seals and sea lions, and enjoyed stunning views of Mount Baker before returning.

We explored the Salish Sea, encountering playful humpback whales, Sherwina and Bandit, slapping their fins, followed by a visit to Stinky Rock to see Steller sea lions and harbor seals, and ended the tour at the Gabriola Bluffs with its stunning sandstone cliffs and nesting cormorants.
