June 10th - T49A's Near Merry Island!

Today we had the opportunity to cross the Salish Sea in search of Transient Killer Whales! Our guests boarded the open boat, Cascadia, and visited the waters around Merry Island.

The T49A's are a group of Transient Orcas that consist of a mother, nicknamed Nan, and three of her offspring! Nan was born in 1986 and the newest member of the pod is only 4 years old!
