April 25th - The T90's and T87 in the heart of the Gulf Islands

Our open boat “Keta” took excited passengers south to where there were rumours of a shy humpback whale around Moresby Island. Unfortunately it was being a bit too elusive so Keta departed scene and headed to where there were reports of transient orca around Saturna Island. There were also big waves!

Our passengers had quite the adventurous ride looping around Saturna and then finally coming across the T90’s and T87 in Active Pass. A Stellar Sealion was also caught mid chow! Here are some of the best photos taken by onboard marine naturalist Rodrigo Menezes.
