April 21st - T49A's celebrating around Saltspring Island

Today we had an amazing adventure on the water. We left Nanaimo Harbour and started heading south searching for the whales while our guest were enjoying the beautiful landscapes of the Gulf Islands.

We found the pod T49A’s southbound of Saltspring Island, the largest of the gulf islands. This family is led by “Nan” (or T49A) born in 1986 and a proud mother of four. Check out the photos taken for our marine naturalist Rodrigo Menezes.
