We are seeing our Humpbacks more and more every day! After a long winter near Mexico/ Central America they’ve come here to fill their bellies before they start the long journey south to their breeding and calving grounds. Heather and Raptor are often seen hanging out together through the southern gulf islands.

We visited with the 77’s at the start of our afternoon tour near the Pender Islands in the south. On our way back Our Humpbacks were pretty elusive in the afternoon. One of our boats managed to see a humpback surface very briefly before going under for a very long dive and our other boat didn’t get to see him at all! they were definitely doing some long dives.
