We were lucky enough to find the T049As ad T049Bs travelling together along the Galiano Island shoreline during this trip! This was a continuation of the small family reunion that has been happening with these two pods over the last couple weeks. Plus it’s always great to see one of our favorite whales: Noah!

Another beautiful day exploring the Southern Gulf Islands! We got to see swimming Steller Sea Lions, Harbour seals, Bald Eagles, California Sea Lions and some amazing scenery!

They’re a rare sight to see in our waters since they’re more commonly seen up in Alaska. These two brothers like to try and make an appearance in the Salish Sea once a year. It’s T125A and T128; the Alaskan boys!

We spent the tour watching the T036As travelling through the Strait of Georgia. After watching the whales we got to see a huge congregation of bald eagles, sea lions, seals, and more!

Active pass was living up to it’s name today! We saw two different groups of whales transiting the pass, the T049 sisters stopped to hunt a sea lion and teach their young members some skills. We also came across the T137s entering the pass as we started heading back to Nanaimo.

It was another exciting day spent with our orca who were having a t-party! There was lots of surface activity as our whales threw themselves out of the water, slapped their fins on the surface, and generally enjoyed each others company.

T-party time! We found 4 pods of orca travelling together in a t-party east of Gabriola Island. The T036s, T037s, T037As, and T137s were having a great time as we watched them!

It was a first time for the company, we got to see the herring spawn during a tour! The turquoise water and activity out of the sea lions, gulls, and eagles was a rare sight to see!

The T137’s were busily playing in the currents of Active Pass today. There were also lots of Seals, Sealions, and Bald Eagles to be spotted during this tour!
