We travelled down south to Saturna Island to watch a pod of transient orca but had three other whale surprises along the way! All those whales sure made for an amazing day!

Read MoreThe T101’s have been hanging around the Salish Sea for quite some time now! We saw them in Howe Sound on May 19th and now again on May 27th. In between then we’ve seen them several times in the Gulf Islands using similar foraging strategies. Mom and her three sons must really like the taste of Salish Sea seals and sea lions!

We were fortunate enough to find orcas in the morning, and during the humpback research portion we found "Anvil" the humpback whale! The Keta team was able to collect data and ID photographs of "Anvil" as well as discuss humpback conservation and biology with our guests.
