July 17, 2018 - Humpbacks travelling through the Southern Gulf Islands
July 17, 2018 - Humpbacks travelling through the Southern Gulf Islands

July 17th was filled with so many humpback whales it was crazy! Finding one outside Porlier Pass, two off the Galiano shore line, and two more by Valdes Island we couldn’t have asked for a better day.

July 6, 2018 - An energetic humpback whale and killer whales!

The 6th was an exciting day filled with beautiful sights and some amazing acrobatics by a humpback whale on the morning tour. This whale breached 81 times in a row! In the afternoon we travelled alongside a pod of orca through Active Pass. So many whales packed into one day!

July 1, 2018 - Canada Day Celebrations!

Had an amazing time on Canada Day watching the T36A’s and T49A’s in the morning along the Galiano shoreline and watching the T65A’s in Maple Bay in the afternoon. The whales must have been as excited about Canada Day as we were because both trips had amazing shows!

June 27, 2018 - T65A's in the Strait of Georgia.. the baby is looking good!

On June 27th we spent lots of time watching the T65A’s travel north through the Strait of Georgia. T65A is a very successful mother and has been seen frequently in the Salish Sea, and is now with newborn T65A6 at her side! Check out our blog for a healthy (maybe excessive?) dose of baby photos!!
